“Death cleaning is certainly not just about things. If it was, it would not be so difficult.” Margareta Magnusson
This 3-month online course will help you through the work of de-cluttering your life on all levels. Daily practice of Yoga Nidra will support you as begin to let go of physical things, as well as the unresolved emotional baggage we often carry. Enrolling on the course is a great motivator as you work through this process, with the help of a mentor. The result will be a feeling of lightness and clarity, the experience of less is definitely more - and more space, internally and externally.
PS - you don't need to be old to do this course. It's a useful and insightful practice at any stage of life after 40. Sophie Morris says "its basically throwing out your crap so that others don’t have to do it when you’re gone, it's truly comforting".
The course examines:
Different approaches to death, attachment, and letting go.
Moving away from external, material attachments and achievements towards inner peace, joy and the divine within us. The fulfilled life, the fullness of emptiness.
How the yoga tradition offers a graceful unfolding towards fulfilment, as life becomes more subtly rewarding with age.
To raise awareness of the inevitable reality of death! Acceptance of death brings liberation and joy to daily life.
To help you explore this inevitable and mysterious part of life on a practical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
To confront and accept unfinished emotional business – most of us have some.
Daily practice - Yoga Nidra, sitting still doing nothing (Zazen), reflective writing, curating memories.
