Saturday lunch – There is a great little café in the woods opposite Berry Pomeroy Castle ruins; due to time constraints we’ll drive there, it takes about 5 minutes.

The current menu will be sent to you before the workshop so we can pre-order, eat asap and then have a walk in the magical, informal castle grounds.

Sunday lunch – on me, a selection of veggie soup, cheese, bread, and fruit

After lunch there is another magical walk on the doorstep, up to the copse opposite the hall. From here there are 360-degree views over this beautiful Devon landscape.

Walk details – the castle walk is quite steep, just at the very beginning, so bring a stick if you need one, and walking boots/shoes. 95% of it is level and easy. The copse – we will drive to the entrance gate due to time constraints, then walk up through the field, which is a gradual slope. Once at the top, you can lie or sit in the grass (weather permitting), and walk round the copse to appreciate the views.

Both of the walks are beautiful, the countryside here is stunning, there are no shops, little traffic and very few people.

Please bring – yoga mat, light blanket, water bottle, and cushion or block for sitting comfortably if needed.

I have some blocks, bolsters, blankets and mats if you are unable to bring your own (please let me know if you’re unable to bring a mat). The floor is wooden, so quite hard, but there are thick gym mats available to lie on whilst practicing Yoga Nidra.

There is a kitchen with microwave, kettle etc, so if you prefer, or have special dietary requirements, bring lunch on either or both days.

Water, teas, coffee, apple juice and biscuits/cake will be provided.
